Description
This circuit is designed to act like a 12ax7 valve preamp with a huge dynamic range, warmness, touch sensitivity and natural break up like a quality valve amp .
Drive controls the amount of distortion from clean through to a creamy smooth overdrive.
Tone controls the amount of treble. Anticlockwise cuts treble and clockwise boosts it , all with out changing your output volume.
Volume controls the overall output level of the unit.
The F.E.T drive has plenty of output and can be used as a great soloing boost pedal.
The switch top left now acts like an extra channel on an amp.
The raised position is the low gain channel with a huge dynamic range and the ability to easily NAIL the holy grail low gain tones .
The lowered position is the high gain channel which not only offers more distortion but is voiced to be brighter and a little tighter than the low gain channel , great for rock tones and soloing .
The pedal has received an overall eq tweak without loosing the Mojo of the original.
